Our Story

From observation to action

Founded in 2023 at Windesheim University, Value Chain Hackers emerged from a simple observation: the gap between academic research and real-world supply chain challenges was too wide.

We believe the most innovative solutions come from collaboration — bringing together students, researchers, and industry professionals so theoretical knowledge meets practical experience.

Today we’re a growing community working with leading companies to tackle circular economy models, AI-driven logistics, and sustainable sourcing challenges.

“The gap between academic research and real-world impact was too wide — so we closed it.”

We work directly with companies to understand their real challenges, ensuring our research creates actionable business value.

🌱

What we stand for

Our Values

🔓

Transparency

Open research, shared knowledge, transparent partnerships. Our work is publicly available and methodologies are open source.

Innovation

We challenge conventional thinking. Our diverse community brings fresh perspectives to problems that have resisted easy solutions.

🌍

Global Perspective

Supply chains are global, and so are we. Our international community ensures we understand challenges across cultures and economies.

🎯
